2 Nephi 12


Chapter 12

vs 1- Who saw these things concerning Jerusalem?
vs 2- What shall be established in the last days in the top of the mountains?
Who shall flow unto it?
vs 3- What shall many people go and say?  What will the Lord do there? What will we do there?
What shall go forth out of Zion?  What shall go forth from Jerusalem?
vs 4- What shall the Lord do to many nations and people?  
What shall the people turn their swords and spears into?
What shall they not learn any more?
vs 5- What he invite the house of Jacob to come walk in?
What have they all done?
vs 6- Why has the Lord forsaken His people (the house of Jacob)? (find 3 things)
vs 7- What is their land full of (or not end to)? (find 2 categories)
vs 8- What else is their land full of?  What do they worship?
vs 9- Why will the mean man and great man not be forgiven?
vs 10- What does Isaiah tell the wicked ones to do?  What will the fear and glory of the Lord do?

vs 18- What will God afflict thy seed with?  What will he do to the hearts of the Gentiles?
vs 19- Who does God consecrate this land unto for their inheritance?
What does God want all men that dwell on this land to do?
vs 20- Why should they not be sad- “hang down their heads”- about leaving Jerusalem?
vs 21- Who are the promises great unto?  Who inhabits them?
vs 22- Who led them away from the house of Israel?  What does the Lord do to them and us?
vs 23- What does he tell us to do with our hearts?  What are we free to do?
vs 24- What should we reconcile ourselves to?  What is the only way to be saved?
vs 25- What power does God use to raise us from (physical) death?  
From everlasting (spiritual) death?  Where may you be received into?

Chapter 9

vs 1- Why did Jacob read these things to his brethern?
vs 2- What will the Jews be restored to and gathered home to?
vs 3- How does he want them to feel as a result of his speech? Why should they feel this way?
vs 4- What will happen to our flesh?  What will be in when we shall see God?
vs 5- Why does the great Creator come among those in Jerusalem and suffereth himself to die?

vs 7- What saves us from this corruption?  What would remain if not? What would happen to our flesh?

By what power is our body and spirit restored together?
vs 13- What does paradise deliver up?  Who will become immortal?  
What kind of knowledge will we have?
vs 14-What shall we have a perfect knowledge of?
What will the righteous be clothed with?
vs 15- What happens to all men after their resurrection?
vs 16- Where shall the filthy go and how will they feel?
vs 17- In what ways is God’s justice shown?
vs 18- What shall the righteous saints inherit and how will they feel?
vs 19- In what ways is God’s mercy shown?
vs 20- What quality demonstrates God’s holiness?
vs 21- Why did Christ come into the world?  Who did he suffer for?
vs 22- Why did he suffer this?
vs 23- What does he command all men to do in order to be saved?
vs 24- What will happen to them if they don’t repent, be baptized, and endure?
vs 25- What has he given?  What has claim on someone without the law?
vs 26- What satisfies the demands of justice upon those who have not the law?
What will happen to them?
vs 27- What will be the state of those who have the law and transgress it and waste his days?
vs 28- What makes a learned person foolish?
vs 29- What makes learning good?
vs 30- Who do the rich despise?  Who do they persecute?
What are their hearts set upon?  What is their god?  What will happen to their treasure?
vs 31-32- What does he call those who WILL NOT hear and see?  What will happen to them?
vs 33- What kind of hearts are condemned?  What will smite them at the last day?
vs 34- What will happen to the liars?
vs 35- What will happen to the murderers?
vs 36- Who will be thrust down to hell?
vs 37- Who does the devil delighteth in?
vs 38- If we die in our sins, what will happen to our sins when we are resurrected?

What is the result of being carnally minded?  Of being spritually minded?

vs 46- What should we prepare our souls for?  If we are prepared, what will we NOT have?  
If we are guilty of transgressing the law, who can we blame?  
Who will obtain us?  What will be a prey to?
vs 47- What is it expedient that Jacob should do?  Why?
vs 48- Why does he teach them the consequences of sin?
