Vs 1- What did Alma command his son, Helaman, to take?
Vs 2- What did he command him to do?
How should he keep all these things?
Why are these records kept?
Vs 3- What do the plates of brass contain?
What else is recorded on them from the beginning?
Vs 4- How shall they be handed down?
How shall they be kept and preserved?
Who shall they go forth unto?
Why?  (What shall they know)
Vs 5- What must they retain?
Vs 6- How are great things brought to pass?
How are the wise often confounded?
Vs 7- How does the Lord bring about his great and eternal purposes?
What are some things the Lord does by small means?
Vs 8- What are some things these records has hitherto done for this people? (name 3)
Vs 9- What did these records help Ammon and his brethren to do?
What did these records help the Lamanites to do and know?
Vs 10- What might these records be the means of bringing many Lamanites and Nephites to a knowledge of?

What are his paths and course like?

What did he say will happen if we keep his commandments?

Why have the judgments of God come upon them? (Who cried for vengeance)
Vs 31- How long will the land be cursed unto the workers of darkness?
When should they repent?

How can they withstand every temptation of the devil?
Vs 34- What should they never be weary of?
Who shall find rest to their souls?

Who should we direct our thoughts to?
Who should we place our affections upon?

What will he direct us to do?
What should we say to God in our morning and evening prayers?
What shall happen to those who do these things? (Those who trust in the Lord)
Vs 38- What ball or director did the Lord prepare for their fathers?
Vs 39- Who could not have made it?
Why was it prepared?
Vs 40- What made it work for them?
What did they daily have by the power of God?
Vs 41- How did those miracles work?
When would those marvelous works cease and their progress stop?
Vs 42- Why did they tarry in the wilderness and were afflicted with hunger/thirst?
Vs 43- What are these things not without?
What happened to them temporally if they did not heed this compass?
What is that like?
Vs 44- What is it easy to do?
Where will it point you to?
Vs 45- If we follow their course, where shall the words of Christ carry us?
Vs 46- What is the right way like?
What should we not be?
What should we do to live?
Vs 47- What does Alma tell his son, Helaman, to take care of?
Who does he say he should look to?
What does he say he should do and be like?
